To learn how to make newspaper yarn just go here. You will need newspaper, scissors, and you will need to learn to use a spindle (it's not that hard ...just look at this video for instructions).I will try and find projects for this yarn to list, but I like the idea of making a rubbish bin out of it!
To make yarn out of plastic bags (a great waterproof alternative to newspaper), visit this site or go here. This yarn would be great for bags and maybe even coats!
OR you can even make yarn from t-shirts, which would also be great for weaving.
And you can feel good in the process because it's all recycling!
