I did a similar thing for a window display back in April :)
...except I used emulsion on the inside of the bottles. It worked really well, except for the ones I mixed with poster paint. It wasn't good enough quality so it peeled. Not good.
I really like the idea of spraying the outside because then they can still be used as proper vases. But the emulsion was nice because you could mix your own colours. Dunno if you could do that with spray.
I love the bright rainbow colours of these wine bottle vases, and they're so easy!
