Phone Book Projects

One idea for recycling a phone book would be to make a handy pen holder to organise your office desk - see the tutorial here.
Or if you sell at craft fairs, a Yellow Pages book would be a great way of displaying your business cards at your stall in a clever and ingenious way! This idea was found here.

Ceramic Notepad

What a fab idea!
This ceramic notepad can be written on and then wiped clean again when you don't need the note anymore. . which would be perfect for me because I have messy bits of paper and lists EVERYWHERE (I'm a majorly obsessive list-maker)!

How to Hand Stamp Fabric

Great tutorial on how to hand stamp fabric with craft foam, fabric paints, a brayer and a couple of other bits and bobs. I really love hand stamped fabric because it's often a bit rough around the edges, which I think adds charm to the pattern, and it looks lovely and handmade :-)
And for instructions on how to make your own stamps using FIMO, go here.

Make Fireballs!

Very impressive trick with fireballs - BUT BE CAREFUL! These can still burn you, and if it's too hot for you, the maker of the video recommends adding water to cool the flame down. Also don't put much lighter fluid on the ball, hold the ball at the bottom only, make sure you have water at the ready and don't do it alone!
I don't think i'm brave enough though!
