On my dental tech university course, I had to write a case study on making a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown in a laboratory. And since I still have the photos, I thought I'd write a
step-by-step report on how the crown (shown in the photo above) was made from start to finish.
I hope people find it interesting, as it's not something most people have seen or indeed know about - I didn't even realise it was a job until I was 18!
